Common Questions

In case you were wondering about things that you may see and hear at Victory during our services, we created this section of our website. Paul commended the Berean Church for "examining the Scriptures." In the same way, it is important for all of us to search God's Word to understand how He moves.

"Now these were more noble-minded than those of Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily, to see whether these things were so." Acts 17:11 (NASB)

    Singing In the Spirit
Along with praying in tongues, you can also sing in the Spirit. It is often used to worship and praise God with a new song. Concerning this, 1 Corinthians 14:15 states, "What is the outcome then? I shall pray with the Spirit and I shall pray with the mind also; I shall sing with the Spirit and I shall sing with the mind also." Two other scriptural examples of this in the Bible follow:
  • Ps. 33:3
  • 1 Cor. 14:15

  • Mark 16:18
