Walker and Haley Schurz have lived and ministered in Southern Africa since 1994. God dealt with them both while they were still young about serving as missionaries in their adult life. They are both graduates of Oral Roberts University and Rhema Bible Training Center.

The ministry is strategically based in Lusaka, Zambia and extends to many of the surrounding nations such as South Africa, Botswana and Mozambique. God has blessed them with a great ministry team to reach the estimated 90% of pastors in Southern Africa who have not had any formal Bible training.

Much of the leadership crisis in Africa is due to the great success of evangelism and church planting in the past century. Many pastors and leaders in Southern Africa have a genuine call of God and a desire to help people grow. Large numbers of these leaders are isolated to teaching due to geographic distances and limited resources.

The purpose of Decision Ministries is to assist, not replace the local church in reaching and ministering to youth. Through various activities, Decision Ministries will provide an atmosphere where the Spirit of God can minister to and meet the needs of young people, as well as positioning and equipping them to go out and reach the harvest.

Ray and Cathy Dubois have a heartbeat for the youth of the world. Ray has dedicated his life to the vision of Decision Ministries, to seeing young people realize their potential in Christ and discover the greater life of walking in the Spirit. His goal is to teach teens that they have to reach their own generation for God.

Born in a Muslim family with Middle-Eastern origins, Christopher Alam received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1975. He was immediately confined in a mental asylum for his faith in Christ. Christopher responded quickly to the call of God and began to preach the Gospel. He was arrested several times and imprisoned for preaching the Gospel. After being threatened with execution, Christopher finally escaped to Sweden, where he was given political asylum, eventually becoming a Swedish subject. It was in Sweden that he met is wife, Britta, in the church that he attended. They were married in 1979.

Christopher first attended the Torchbearers Bible School in HolsbyBrunn, in Sweden, then, together with Britta, attended RHEMA Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Christopher also served with Operation Mobilization in the Benelux countries. He taught for several years as a full-time teacher at the Word of Life Training Center in Uppsala, Sweden, which was the largest Bible school in Europe at that time.

Dynamis World Ministries started as a missions organization with Christopher Alam's preaching behind the Iron Curtain - long before the fall of Communism in Eastern Europe. From there, it spread to Asia, Africa, and Latin America. In 1993 the Alams and the ministry's headquarters moved from Sweden to Lancaster, PA.

Christopher Alam has preached the Gospel in over 60 nations so far, and hundreds of churches have been started as a fruit of this ministry. The preaching of the Gospel is accompanied by signs, wonders, and miracles.

Foundation for the Realization of Economic Empowerment (FREE) has long been a dream in the heart of Dawn Close. While living in southern Africa over the course of 22 years she was often troubled by the widespread poverty experienced by hard-working people amidst abundant resources. Dawn taught sewing to People Living With AIDS and AIDS orphans. Eventually she started an income-generating sewing project for impoverished women. Dawn holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She attended Rhema Bible Training Center '83. She has earned a Master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh where she studied international development. Dawn will reside in Lusaka,Zambia to oversee the operations of FREE, a faith-based Christian developmental organization committed to empowering women to rise above poverty.

New Creations Chapel

In 1967, Tim and Bonnie Cummings, newly married and just 23 years of age, received an unction from God to work with young people. They started teaching 5th and 6th graders in their local church. In 1969, New Creations was started for the young people in the surrounding communities and it continues this ministry today to young people all over the world.

In October 1976, New Creations moved to its present location at the intersection of 1-70 and U.S.40. Since the beginning in 1969, church services have been held. The church opened the Christian residential facility in 1971 when the Cummings opened their home to hurting youth. In 1978 we saw the beginning of a Christian Boarding School, and a Christian school for local area youth. In 1984, a Bible College was added to train young adults, and in 1995, the long awaited Christian camping program was opened.

Dr. Phillip G. Richards is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He received his Ph.D. in theology from Life Christian University. He has served the Lord in full-time ministry since 1978. Dr. Richards has had experience as a pastor, evangelist, and teacher. He has also taught the Word of God at the Good News Seminary in Moscow and on missionary trips to Alaska. He is currently a professor of theology at West Virginia Christian University, an extension campus of Life Christian University. He also teaches at Victory Bible Institute.
