John 15:13 - Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

John 15:12-13 - My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

I John 3:16 - This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.

Ephesians 5:1-2 - Follow God's example in everything you do, because you are his dear children.  2  Live a life filled with love for others, following the example of Christ, who loved you and gave himself as a sacrifice to take away your sins.

Isaiah 50:7 - Because the Lord helps me, I will not be dismayed. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do his will. And I know that I will triumph.
