The Bible is the Word of God.
It was written by men under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any form of error.
God is three in one.
God exists as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each part of the Trinity serves a different function, but they each possess equal power and authority.
Jesus is the Son of God.
He is completely human and completely God. He is God’s only plan for bringing people back into a right relationship with Him. Jesus was sent by God, lived a perfect and blameless life on earth, and offered Himself as a sacrifice and substitution for all people. He defeated death by rising from the dead so that we could have life, ascended into Heaven, and will return again one day to reign as King.
Man is made in the image of God.
God made man His most prized creation. Every human personality is uniquely created and is worthy of dignity, respect, and Christian love. Man was created to live in relationship with God, but became separated from Him through disobedience. As a result, no human can attain a right relationship with God through his own effort.
Salvation is a gift from God.
Salvation is only possible through the belief in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Salvation cannot be earned or obtained by any human effort. It is freely given because Jesus offered Himself as our substitution. Those who put their trust in Jesus and are obedient to Him are forgiven and made new.
We will exist forever after this life.
Those who know God and have received salvation will remain with Him in Heaven. Those separated from God by sin and unbelief will remain apart from Him in Hell. Heaven and Hell are real places that exist without end.
Jesus will return.
One day, Jesus will physically return to earth for the second time to establish His Kingdom. He will reward those who have faithfully followed Him and obeyed His commands.
Water Baptism is a symbol of identification with Jesus.
It’s a public declaration of one’s decision to follow Christ. Since Jesus was baptized by being fully immersed in water, we follow His example to identify with His death, burial, and resurrection. As we come out of the water, it symbolizes being raised up as a new person in Christ. Water baptism is a step of obedience and the covenant seal of our relationship with Christ.
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is for all believers.
As a Christian, the Holy Spirit is always in us to guide us, comfort us, empower us, and teach us to act more like Jesus. The presence and baptism of the Holy Spirit are gifts from the Father, available to all believers. The confirmation of receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is received after salvation, is speaking in other tongues.
Healing is a privilege for every believer.
God wants everyone to live healthy and whole lives so that we can live for Him and help others more effectively. His healing power is freely given as we pray and ask in faith.
Marriage is God's unique design.
It is the God-designed institution where one man and one woman enter into a lifelong, exclusive relationship.
The Church is the Body of Christ.
It’s a gathering of believers working together to reach all people with the message of God’s love.
