Frequently Asked Questions:

Which grade do I register my child for?

Please register your child using their current grade for the 2025–2026 school year, which is a change from previous years.

Who can come to Camp?

All students who are currently in Kindergarten through 4th grade for the 2025-2026 school year are more than welcome to come.

Can my child entering Kindergarten next year attend?

Not this year. This year’s camp is just for kids who are currently in Kindergarten during the 2025-2026 school year. We know this is a change from past years when incoming Kindergarteners could join, and we appreciate your understanding!

I have a 4th grader, can they come to camp?

Yes! This year, kids who are currently in 4th grade (entering 5th grade next school year) will attend Camp instead of Encounter Conference. This is a change from previous years, when incoming 5th graders would go to Encounter.

Will lunch be provided at Camp?

Lunch will be provided each day. The menu for the week will be provided prior to the start of camp.

If your student has dietary restrictions, please pack a lunch labeled with their name and grade. These should be dropped off at the Nurses’ Station in the lobby.

What if my child needs medication?

All prescription meds must be turned in to our certified nursing staff at registration on June 23, 2026.

What should I send with my child?

Students should wear their Camp T-shirt every day.

If your student is currently in 3rd -4th grade we are asking that they bring a Bible and pen for chapel and small group time. Having a small draw string backpack is ideal to hold these items throughout the day.

We recommend applying sunscreen to your child before camp. Feel free to send sunscreen and a water bottle with them. We’ll also have plenty of water available throughout the day to keep everyone hydrated.

We are only hosting light water games this year—no towels or changes of clothes are necessary.

When will we receive T-Shirts for camp?

Pick these up on the first day at the table designated for your student’s grade and gender color. Please put the shirt on before checking in! We ask that students wear their camp T-shirt every day.

What Bible should my 3rd or 4th grader use?

We recommend that students at this age bring an NIV or NIRV Bible to camp.

Is there early dismissal or late drop off?

To ensure all campers get the most out of their experience without interruptions, we are no longer able to accommodate late drop-offs or early pick-ups. Our daily activities begin promptly at the scheduled start time and continue until our final group dismissal. We ask that all campers stay for the full duration of the program to keep our activities running smoothly for everyone.

How can I have someone else pick up my student?

If someone else is picking up your student, they must show a photo of that day’s parent tag. Because the security tag changes every day, a new photo of the current tag is required for every pick-up.

I want to serve at camp; how can I find available opportunities?

That’s great! Serving and investing in the Next Generation is so impactful, especially at camp. For more info and to sign up to serve, check the next section on this page.

Is my special needs student able to attend?

We desire that all students be able to experience camp! When you register your student, please select special needs if they are currently in our special needs ministry on Sundays. There are a limited number of spots for this since we are growing this ministry.

Serve at Kids Camp

At Victory Family Church, we believe every child should have the chance to experience Kids Camp — and that every adult, including young adults, has something valuable to offer.

Whether you’re a parent, college student, or just out of high school, there’s a place for you on the team. Serving at camp is more than just helping for a few days — it’s a chance to invest in eternity and make a lasting impact on the next generation.
